How we handle client data and sensitive documents.
Akmere Tax & Business Services takes taxpayer and client data protection seriously. Clients should not submit sensitive documents through the general website contact form. Sensitive tax and financial records should only be provided through approved secure methods after an engagement has been accepted.
This notice is a general website privacy and document-handling notice and is not a substitute for any engagement letter, consent, portal terms, or legally required privacy notice.
The website contact form is for basic contact requests only. Do not include Social Security numbers, birthdates, tax forms, wage statements, bank information, identity documents, or other sensitive personal information in the contact form.
After an engagement is accepted and the engagement letter is completed, clients will receive specific instructions for submitting sensitive documents through approved secure methods. Document submission instructions are provided on a per-engagement basis.
Submitting the contact form does not create a client relationship. A client relationship begins only after Akmere accepts the engagement and the required engagement process is completed.
